Since 27th March we have been closed due to the amount of cancellations following the Coronavirus Lockdown.
Any deposits held for bookings from that point have been credited to future bookings or held on account for a future date to be decided. We are aware that this has been a challenging time for everyone and we want our customers and their lovely cats to return to us.
We are planning to reopen with effect from 01 July 2020 for grooming and boarding and we are now receiving bookings for later in this year and 2021.
As there is a “new normal”, we have had to change some of our procedures to comply with our return under the Covid guidelines.
To keep operations going while maintaining health and safety of our staff and customers, please may we ask you NOT to bring your cat to us if you have had symptoms of Covid 19 in the 14 days prior to drop off or collection or are self-isolating due to being in contact with someone confirmed to have the virus. Please do not bring any bedding or toys or scratch posts from home at this time. You may still bring food if you want your cat to remain on a special diet. This should be provided in a cleanable plastic container. Do not bring bowls.
Any medication must be in clearly labelled containers with the cat’s name, dosage, method and frequency and storage instructions.
PRIOR to the boarding date, please email a copy of your cat’s up to date vaccination card, and any information you feel we should be aware of, (such as feeding instructions and frequency and any health issues) to, email@example.com.
We will not be able to board your cat without this information on file so please ensure the vaccinations are up to date in good time for your booking.
We MUST be provided with an emergency contact of someone who would be able to collect your cat on your behalf, should either you or we become ill during your cat’s stay. Should we need to self-isolate for 14 days your cat would need to be collected.
We will now be requesting a £20 or 20% non-returnable or transferrable deposit for new bookings arriving from 01 July, which should be paid either at the time of booking or within 5 days to hold the room. We will then ask for balance of payment for your cat’s stay 21 days prior to the boarding date to confirm the booking either by phone or bank transfer. We are not accepting payment on site.
We will be changing some of our usual opening times to suit the level of bookings and staffing. When you confirm the booking with the final payment, you will be asked to select a drop off and pick up time. Please stick the these times as we will be expecting you. For collection, your cat will be placed in its box shortly before collection time.
On arrival please wait in your car for the cars dropping off or collecting in the parking zone to clear. We will operate a one-way system so please do not turn around and go back out via the entrance.
For drop offs, when our staff member signals to you, please place your cat in its’s carrier on the ground in front of your car and return to your car. Our staff member wearing personal protection equipment will then pick up the carrier and feed/medication if any and after wiping the handle take the cat to its room and settle it down.
Please do not enter the reception area or any part of the cattery, or touch any doors or handles. Unfortunately for the time being we are not able to provide viewings within the cattery.
Hopefully, with these measures in place we can protect one another whilst providing excellent care for our feline guests.
